Thank you to Sacramento Magazine for recognizing what we do at Ground Zero.  It's not just about opening the doors, but giving back, too.  After all, you can't expect community support without supporting the community.

   Something we simply hope people notice is that the Ground Zero shops are the only shops in the area that have been doing a combination of putting on skate comps for all ages and skills, sponsoring local riders and promoting them, supporting every charity and school that approaches us with product donations, supporting all skate/snow/skim events that ask us for support, holding other fun events that promote skate/snow/skim, and giving out free product to spectators at many events.  All while guaranteeing the best price on product.   While some shops do some of these things, we are the only ones who do all these things and certainly more frequently.  If you are familiar with Granite Skatepark (Power Inn) and Tanzanite, we are the only shops you can set foot in that contributed funds and time to SSA (Sacramento Skatepark Advocates) events to get those parks built.
