Dunk High – Dark Obsidian/Metallic Platinum – Labeled the “Un-Heaven’s Gate”, this one comes out with some controversy.   The Heavens Gate Cult is a religious group (yes, they still exist) which is best known for an incident in 1997 when 39 members…..uh hummm….let their souls depart from their bodies to ride on a spacecraft hiding in the tale of the Hale-Bopp comet in order to be reincarnated on another planet with Jesus, who had done so 2000 years prior.   Why not!?!  They thought earth was about to be wiped clean of life.  Man, did they show us.   The soulless “vessels” left behind were all wearing black and white Nike high tops and covered by a purple blanket.  Fast forward to 2008; Last year, Nike SB was set to release a Dunk High with colors seemingly inspired by this event.  When word got out about the Hevens Gate Dunk High, Nike pulled it.  The colors were so good that Nike kept getting hit up for a new version so they figured in a new way to put the colors on in a different scheme.  This one is a little different.  The swoosh is more of a silver than white, the purple is placed differently, and the toe isn’t as muted of black, so if you ask Nike, this Dunk High has nothing to do with Heaven’s Gate.   Back to them, Marshall Applewhite was their founder and one of that day’s spiritual space travelers.  We were going to put a picture of him behind the shoes, but the dude is creepy.  Instead you get the Hale-Bopp comet, look closely, you might see a UFO.

Classic – Dark Teal/White – SB models come and go, but the Classic keeps getting better.  Tasty with teal, this Classic jumps off the wall.  ***NEWS ALERT***  Look for the Classic High this winter.  Sick.

Blazer Elite – Dark Army/Khaki –  The “Rastant”, or rasta ant, is a very unique Blazer.  This is part of the Custom Series 3 pack in which Nike SB ams designed their own kicks. This is designed by Nike SB am Grant Taylor. Leather is used on the side panels and the rasta theme is used throughout.  The inside is soft and quilted.  This is not like any Blazer you have seen before, and may be the last like it.

Blazer Low Premium – White/Sport Red – The only Blazer Low for the Summer Nike SB season.  Classic sports colors, every day, all day.

Dunk Mid Premium – Khaki/Medium Denim – The “Workwear” mid is part of the Custom Series 3 pack.  This one is Justin Brock’s and is modeled after some classic workwear which is tough and good to skate in.  It has some special materials used, a unique tongue label, and a wrench graphic on the insole.

Tre AD – Anthracite/Comet Red -    It may be the best colored Tre AD to date.  The red in the back heal cuff is woven like a basket.
